Sorry about the missed email last week. The truth is, I have been in a low hum of a funk for a while now, and it all came to a head last week, and I didn't feel inspired to write you. More often than not, I put on a brave face and keep pushing through, but sometimes I need a break. So much so that I deactivated my IG account for the foreseeable future. I just felt like I was consuming and consuming and scrolling and scrolling and it just didn’t feel good.
I was looking forward to camping this weekend, but the campground had canceled our reservations due to the smoke in the Sierra's. But, we pivoted our plans, and I am excited to spend a chill weekend in Los Angeles.
Last we spoke, I told you about the tomatoes we were canning! We for 50 pounds of tomatoes and got about 30 jars of peeled tomatoes that we'll use throughout the fall/winter. I used a jar to make tomato eggs for breakfast the other day, and it was so delicious!
Have you ever had tomato eggs?
I have also been finding immense joy at eating stone fruit with freshly whipped cream. It’s so simple but so decadent! I love summer produce!!!!!!!

Hey Alisson. I immediately noticed you weren't on Instagram, and promptly went to Chris' page to check on you. We're feeling pretty bleh too.
