the newsletter is back!
How are you? It’s been a while! Happy New Year! A lot has happened since we last spoke, most importantly, my mental health has been a lot better which is always a good thing!
Chris and I also took some trips that were very restorative. We went to Mexico at the end of summer, we hosted a very tiny thanksgiving at our place (me, him, his mom and sis), we went to Hawaii for a week before Christmas and Yosemite for New Year.
We also celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Los Angeles - which snuck up on us! It went by so fast!
No super ambitious cooking projects have happened (outside of fun madness that was thanksgiving) but I have been thinking a lot about baking bread and making pizza. I got an Ooni oven for Christmas in 2019 and I haven’t used it yet - which is very unlike me. This new inspiration comes from getting the new cookbook from Dan Richer “The Joy of Pizza”. He’s the owner of Razza in New Jersey - which is one of the best pies I’ve ever had.
